Seventeen and one-half acres of the original 55 owned by Hiram Edson are part of this historic site. Although Edson's original barn no longer stands, a barn belonging to Luther Edson, Hiram's father, has been moved and restored on the Edson farm.
A Visitor Center and restrooms are now opened for your convenience.
This site is sometimes referred to as "the theologocal birthplace of the Seventh-day Adventist church." "It is here that the doctrines of the Sabbath and the Sanctuary came together, along with other important pillars of the SDA Church: Salvation, Second Coming, State of the Dead, and the Spirit of Prophecy.
