Seventeen and one-half acres of the original 55 owned by Hiram Edson are part of this historic site. Although Edson's original barn no longer stands, a barn belonging to Luther Edson, Hiram's father, has been moved and restored on the Edson farm.
A Visitor Center and restrooms are now opened for your convenience.
This site is sometimes referred to as "the theologocal birthplace of the Seventh-day Adventist church." It was here that the doctrines of the Sabbath and the Spirit of Prophecy were united with the doctrine of the Second Coming of Christ.
