Communion at the William Miller Chapel

Communion Services will be held at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m. and 2:00, 3:00, and 4 p.m. Additional communion services will be held on Sabbath.

A maximum of 40 individuals per service can be accommodated. Entrance will be by pre registered ticket. Please make sure that you have your registration for the service with you or check at the information tent at the Miller Farm. You may also check 5 minutes before any service to find out if room is available at the next one. Each service will last approximately 45 minutes.

The program at each service will remain basically unchanged, though different pastors will be giving their own homily at each service.

Tours of the William Miller House

The house will be open for walk-through tours during the following hours:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Additional tours are available on Sabbath.

Tours to Poultney, Vermont

Individuals interested in going on either tour should pre register and meet at the information tent for short orientation. Included on each tour will be visits to the Union Academy building where as a young man Miller met with the deists, and the Baptist church where he gave his second course of lectures in 1931. Stops at other significant sites on the way back are also planned.

(To be held in the maple grove – weather permitting)

The early morning service will include both singing and prayer. The story of what happened in 1831 in this grove of maple trees will be retold.
